Here are just a few of the local highlights:

• $42 Million upgrade of the Gladstone Hospital's Emergency and Accident Department. 

• Development of the West Wing, Gladstone Hospital.

• East Shores Stage 1B waterfront recreational precinct was completed.

• Over $8.3 Million in infrastructure projects at Gladstone Electorate Schools.

• $12.7 Million funding for Bruce Highway upgrades from Benaraby to Mt Larcom.

• $1.4 Million funding towards recreation activities on Curtis Island and North West Island.

• $3.7 Million over 5 years to provide local domestic violence support services and perpetrator programs.

• $1 Million to continue community walking trails within the Awoonga Dam par precinct. 

• $182.7 Million to continue the family support and child protection reforms through Supporting Families Changing Futures.
