Losing someone you love is always painful - especially if they suffer.
The Premier has now introduced the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2021 into Queensland Parliament to allow access to voluntary assisted dying in Queensland.
I encourage you to:
- Read the Queensland Law Reform Commission report or its summary
- Participate in the community discussion respectfully
- Take the opportunity to make a submission on the Bill.
I support voluntary assisted dying. I believe it contains adequate safeguards, and I will be supporting the Bill.
